Eisenbach (Upper Black Forest), September 30, 2026. Hip swings, a distinctive voice, a famous catchphrase: the image of Elvis Presley comes to mind instantly. But his music tells a much bigger story. With "King Eddy Celebrates Elvis," singer and entertainer Eddy Ebeling will highlight the musical range of the King of Rock 'n' Roll on Friday, October 23, at the Wolfwinkelhalle in Eisenbach.
King Eddy has designed the evening as a personal tribute. High-energy rock 'n' roll meets soulful ballads, gospel, and the big sound of the Las Vegas years. The program does not follow a rigid progression from decade to decade. The songs reveal different sides of an artist whose music extends far beyond the familiar images.
Ebeling's own experiences are also part of this perspective on Elvis. He met Glen D. Hardin, Elvis Presley's longtime pianist and a member of the TCB Band, and shared the stage with him. Insights and memories from these encounters are woven into the concert. They provide a personal context for the songs without turning the evening into a reenactment of an Elvis biography.
"King Eddy Celebrates Elvis" is aimed at longtime fans as well as people who want to rediscover Elvis's music. Ebeling, who frequently performs at private corporate events and galas, will be performing this program publicly in Eisenbach.
