Elvis 2027: 50 Years and Still Unforgotten - Preparations Begin for a Special Elvis Year

Radevormwald, September 29, 2026 - The 50th anniversary of Elvis Presley's death is still nearly a year away. Yet preparations for an extraordinary Elvis year in 2027 are already underway both internationally and in Germany.

August 16, 2027, marks the 50th anniversary of the death of the King of Rock 'n' Roll. It is already becoming clear that this date is likely to attract attention far beyond the traditional fan base. Graceland in Memphis has already started the countdown to the 50th anniversary and opened hotel reservations for Elvis Week 2027 in early September. The first major events have also been confirmed in Germany.

Bad Nauheim, where Elvis Presley lived during his military service in Germany, will host the 25th European Elvis Festival from August 13 to 15, 2027. A special production titled "Elvis 50 - The Legacy Show," featuring former musical collaborators of Elvis, has already been announced for August 14.

An anniversary year with many opportunities for event organizers

The growing interest also opens up opportunities for event organizers, hotels, restaurants, cultural venues, and businesses to host their own events centered around the music and legacy of Elvis Presley.
