The PTFG Series Laser Rangefinder Telescopes (https://meskernel.net/en/product/long-range-distance-sensor/) utilizes a safe, invisible 905nm Class 1 laser to measure distances with remarkable accuracy of ±1.0 meter and 0.1‐meter resolution. Available in models with measurement ranges of 800 meters (PTFG‐800) and 1,200 meters (PTFG‐1200), the device delivers measurements in as little as 0.5 seconds typical, with a maximum of 1.5 seconds even for low‐reflectivity targets. The integrated 6x monocular telescope features multi‐layer coated optics that ensure bright, clear viewing with a wide 6.5‐degree field of view, making it easy to acquire even distant targets.
Multiple Measurement Modes for Versatile Use
The PTFG Series offers six distinct measurement modes to address a wide range of scenarios:
Line Distance Mode (L Mode) - Measures straight‐line distance to the target while displaying the inclination angle.
Horizontal Distance Mode (H Mode) - Calculates the horizontal distance using built‐in angle sensor technology.
Vertical Distance Mode (V Mode) - Provides the vertical elevation difference between the observer and the target.
Slope Compensation Mode - Utilizes a golf ballistics trajectory algorithm to estimate the effective playing distance on uneven terrain, providing golfers with actionable shot recommendations.
Flag‐Lock (Scan) Mode - Specifically designed for golf course use, this mode quickly locks onto small flagpoles even at distances beyond 100 metres, compensating for hand tremor during measurement.
Speed Measurement Mode - Measures moving target speeds from 18 to 300 km/h, ideal for hunting and outdoor observation.
Superior Optics and User‐Friendly Design
The PTFG Series (https://meskernel.net/en/product/long-range-distance-sensor/) features a high‐transmittance LCD display that delivers crisp, readable measurement results in all lighting conditions. The compact form factor of 92 × 54 × 33.1 mm ensures comfortable one‐handed operation. Powered by user‐replaceable CR2 batteries with optional lithium battery configurations, the device supports convenient unit switching between meters and yards via a long press of the mode button. An automatic power‐off feature conserves battery life after 60 seconds of inactivity, while an optional vibration reminder provides tactile confirmation of measurement completion.
Built for the Outdoors
Engineered to operate reliably in demanding environmental conditions, the PTFG Series functions across a wide temperature range from ‐10°C to +50°C.
