About the Editor
Lucy Bolton is Professor of Film Philosophy at Queen Mary University of London and a leading scholar in the fields of film studies, feminist philosophy, and screen stardom. Her publications include Contemporary Cinema and the Philosophy of Iris Murdoch (2019), Film and Female Consciousness: Irigaray, Cinema and Thinking Women (2011), and the co-edited volume Lasting Screen Stars: Images that Fade and Personas that Endure. Her work has made significant contributions to the study of cinema, philosophy, gender, and celebrity culture.
