Press release from: AMSYS GmbH & Co. KG

AMS 5915 pressure sensor with digital output ( (C) AMSYS GmbH & Co. KG)

AMS 5915 pressure sensor with digital output ( (C) AMSYS GmbH & Co. KG)

Mainz, June 8, 2026 - The proven AMS 5915 pressure sensor series combines digital signal output, a wide range of variants and robust PCB mounting for industrial, HVAC and medical applications.

With the AMS 5915, AMSYS offers a proven digital pressure sensor series for precise measurement tasks in compact devices and electronic systems. The sensors are available for differential, relative, absolute and barometric pressure measurements and, depending on the version, cover pressure ranges from 2.5 mbar to 16 bar.

The series is calibrated, linearized and compensated over a temperature range from -25 to +85 ?C. For standard pressure ranges, the AMS 5915 achieves an accuracy of up to ?0.5 %FSO at room temperature. Pressure and temperature values are provided digitally via the I2C interface; models for 3.3 V and 5 V make integration into different electronic systems easier.

Typical applications can be found in industry, including pneumatics, vacuum monitoring and level measurement; in building technology, including HVAC, filter and gas flow measurements; and in medical technology, including respiratory equipment, spirometry and CPAP applications.

The robust ceramic DIP-8 package is designed for PCB mounting and, depending on the version, is available with vertical pressure ports or for O-ring sealing on a manifold. For development and sample testing, additional evaluation options such as a USB starter kit and Arduino accessories are available.

For particularly compact applications, the AMS 6915 series may also be of interest, offering digital I2C pressure measurement in a miniaturized DIL-8 package.

Further information on the AMS 5915 series and personal support in selecting the appropriate sensor version is available at www.amsys-sensor.com.

ME800: Ceramic Differential Pressure Sensor for Challenging Media
ME800: Ceramic Differential Pressure Sensor for Challenging Media
For differential pressure measurement in liquid and chemically challenging media, AMSYS offers the ceramic ME800 from Metallux. The compact sensor combines a media-resistant Al?O? diaphragm with an analog bridge signal and a response time of no more than one millisecond. The sensing element consists of a base plate and a flush diaphragm made of 96% alumina ceramic. Due to the high chemical resistance of Al?O?, one side of the sensor requires
MS8607: Measure Pressure, Temperature, and Humidity with a Single Sensor Module
MS8607: Measure Pressure, Temperature, and Humidity with a Single Sensor Module
Compact devices and environmental monitoring systems often require several parameters to be measured simultaneously. With the MS8607, AMSYS offers a proven sensor solution that measures barometric pressure, temperature and relative humidity in a single, space-saving module. This makes the sensor particularly suitable for applications where compact dimensions, low power consumption and digital access to multiple environmental parameters are essential. The sensor combines two different MEMS sensing principles: a piezoresistive sensing element
