M3200: Robust Pressure Transducer for Demanding Media
Mainz, July 2026 - For industrial applications with demanding media, AMSYS offers the M3200, a field-proven pressure transducer that combines a robust design with analog and digital output signals.The series is suitable for measuring pressure in liquids and gases, including contaminated water, steam and mildly corrosive media. This makes the M3200 suitable for applications in which sensors must operate reliably despite humidity, vibration and changing environmental conditions.
The pressure transducer is based on TE Connectivity's Microfused technology. Silicon strain gauges are fused to a stainless-steel diaphragm using high-temperature glass. The media-wetted pressure cavity is made from one-piece 17-4PH stainless steel. Since there are no welds or organic materials exposed to the pressure media, the design supports media compatibility and long-term stability.
- Flexible integration into industrial systems
The M3200 is available for pressure ranges from 7 to 700 bar and can be selected as a gage or compound version, depending on the configuration. Several output signals are available for integration: 0.5 to 4.5 V ratiometric, 4 to 20 mA, 0 to 5 V, 0 to 10 V and 1 to 5 V. A digital I2C version is also available, providing 14-bit pressure output and 11-bit temperature output.
The series also offers several options for electrical connection and installation. Cable, M12, Packard and Form C versions are available, as well as various pressure ports. Depending on the connection type, the transducer achieves protection ratings up to IP67. This allows integration into stationary systems and mobile machines with increased environmental requirements.
Typical applications include pumps and compressors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, test benches, energy and water management, medical gas pressure measurement, leak detection and general industrial pressure measurement tasks. AMSYS supports users in selecting suitable pressure ranges, output signals, pressure ports and interfaces - from the sample phase through to series integration.
