Your own book in 90 days: Mirjam Saeger shows how artificial intelligence supports authors

Hamburg, December 2025 - Artificial intelligence is changing the way we write, think and publish. But while AI tools are being used more and more, one crucial question remains: _How much technology can a good book take - and what real human expertise is still needed?

Mirjam Saeger, author coach, ghostwriter and founder of Expertition Verlag, has been guiding entrepreneurs, coaches and experts on the path to their own non-fiction book for years. With her program "In 90 days to your own book", she shows how AI can be used sensibly - without compromising the quality and authenticity of the book.

"AI is a tool, not a replacement for human thinking," says Saeger. "It can provide structure, sort ideas or solve writer's block. But it doesn't understand the depth of a life story or the nuances of a real expert opinion."

In her work, she observes two opposing trends:
On the one hand, many aspiring authors* are hesitant because they believe AI will make human books redundant. On the other hand, some rely too heavily on technology - and risk generic texts that convey neither personality nor expertise.

Saeger emphasizes three key points when dealing with AI in writing:

1. AI is fast - but not wise.
It delivers content, but no attitude. A good book needs clarity, positioning and the courage to bring in your own experiences.

2 AI provides support - but it does not replace editing.
Fact-checking, style development, structure and reader guidance remain tasks that require human expertise.

3 AI enables speed - but quality is created through dialog.
The writing process becomes more efficient when technology and author consciously work together.

With her 90-day program, Saeger combines sound coaching, clear writing methodology and the professional use of AI tools. Her goal: to finally make people who have a lot to say visible - without technology overshadowing their voice.

"A book is always a personal imprint," says Saeger. "AI can provide support, but it can't take away the truth of your own path. This combination of efficiency and authenticity is exactly what we teach in my program."
