NAWBO awarded Girard the Up-and-Coming Award, an award that honors dedication to business growth, employee development, owner and personal accomplishments, community involvement, and advocacy for women in business by a business owner who has owned her business for five or fewer years. “I am honored to receive this award,” said Linda Girard. “My hope is that I can help open the door for other women business owners—to let them know that if they stay focused and believe in a bright future, they can be successful.”

Linda Girard is co-founder and visionary of Internet marketing firm Pure Visibility, responsible for leading the aggressive growth and business direction of the company. Prior to founding Pure Visibility, she ran a search engine optimization business and retained her clientele as the business changed and broadened. A self proclaimed “ Internet geek”, she gained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Telecommunications at Eastern Michigan University unknowingly preparing her for the Internet before its existence.
