Concord, Ontario – June 29th, 2016: Ronco has introduced its new CE Cut Level 5 Defensor™ High-Visibility Sleeves.Visibility is an important factor in accident prevention in the workplace. Having your arms clearly visible to yourself, and others around you, in low light conditions or where individuals work at a distance can be the difference between being saved and getting caught in machinery. That is why Ronco has introduced the new Defensor™ High-Visibility Sleeves.
Made of 13 gauge HPPE (high performance polyethylene) fibre, the Defensor™ High-Visibility Sleeves not only help you stay visible but also help keep you cooler in the hot summer months with its unique property of dissipating heat during prolonged usage.
The Defensor™ High-Visibility Sleeves are 18” long and come with a thumbhole at the end to prevent sleeves from riding up and exposing the forearm. They also have a gusset to provide additional room and comfort in the bicep area. The sleeves are washable without affecting the high-visibility colour or losing any cut resistance property.
With all the advantages of Ronco’s Defensor™ Cut-Resistant sleeve; light-weight and soft, CE Cut Level 5, Abrasion Level 3 and Tear Level 4, but with the enhanced safety of high-visibility these sleeves are perfect for cut protection applications in:
• Low light or night time working conditions
• Sites where workers must stand out from the background
• Conditions that could affect a worker’s perception of distance
• Conditions where it is necessary to identify workers from each other
