EAC Network received a Certificate of Appreciation from MSC at their second annual Breakfast of Champions event, which recognizes the Long Island company’s local nonprofit partners.

MSC is a leading North American distributor of maintenance, repair, and operations products and services based in Melville, NY. The company has built strong partnerships with local and national nonprofit organizations throughout its 75-year history.

MSC has supported EAC Network significantly through funding since the inception of MSC’s charitable program in 2006. For the past few years, the company has been the Presenting Sponsor at EAC Network’s annual Party to Protect Children, which benefits the organization’s Children & Youth Services that work deeply with children who are victims of child abuse and neglect or who are involved in the foster care system or child trafficking.

“MSC has remained steadfast in its mission to better the community and its employees,” said Lance W. Elder, President & CEO, EAC Network. “They serve as a great example for all for-profit companies and we are grateful for their support.”

Erik Gershwind, President & CEO of MSC, and Alessandra Cavalluzzi, Director of Community Relations, recognized all of MSC’s nonprofit partners, such as the LGBT Network, Ronald McDonald House of Long Island, and United Way of Long Island.

EAC Network (www.eac-network.org) is a not-for-profit social service agency that empowers, assists, and cares for over 71,000 individuals across Long Island and NYC. EAC Network’s mission is to respond to human needs with programs and services that protect children, promote healthy families and communities, help seniors, and empower individuals to take control of their lives. The organization has grown tremendously since its inception in 1969 and now offers over 70 diverse programs that address many of society’s core problems. People’s lives are being destroyed by addiction, families continue to struggle to overcome poverty, abuse, and neglect, and seniors face isolation and abandonment. EAC Network aims to build a better community one individual at a time.
