Info Session - MSc Program Engineering Management
On May 8, 2008 the info session for the MSc Program Engineering Management takes place at the Vienna University of Technology.
This part-time MSc Program is tailor-made for Europe`s small and medium-sized enterprises facing a growing and increasingly competitive market. It is design to prepare graduates from technical and economic universities for leadership roles in technical, corporate and national affairs.
The Academic Director Prof. DDr. Peter Kopacek and the Program Manager Dr. Man-Wook Han will present the program; discuss its contents as well as all organisational matters. Also please take a chance to discuss with Prof. Michael Polis from Oakland University, Rochester MI, USA about the Engineering Management. In Engineering Management program the Vienna University of Technology has a strong collaboration with Oakland University, Rochester MI, USA.
Afterwards the interested parties will have the possibility to talk with students from the first course.

In order to succeed and proceed to higher management positions the combination of technical and economic knowledge is gaining importance. Experience with legal issues is an additionally sought after asset. In future technicians, lawyers and managers will be specialists not only in their field of expertise but also the respective complementary fields such as marketing, business management, law and engineering. The aim of this MSc Program is to develop an advanced understanding of important management principles and practices in connection with developing and implementing engineering projects in order to enable engineering managers to widen their knowledge and understanding of current and future engineering management issues.
