Mindfield Film Festival Albuquerque showcases features, shorts, and music videos by filmmakers from around the world, celebrating and supporting independent, new and alternative filmmakers. Mindfield aims to show the very best in new independent cinema and to give filmmakers a place to show their work to people who appreciate it.
With this Best Documentary Feature award, The Finding Papa Movie is now elevated to finalist status and in consideration for the annual live festival, taking place in Albuquerque New Mexico in August 2025.
The Finding Papa Movie is a part of Mouse and Weens Productions, a company started in 2018 with a podcast of the same name. Owners Joelle Eggold Kohn and Julianne Eggold started Mouse and Weens to bring a sense of community to the audience, while exploring fascinating human behavior through conversations and interviews.
