San Pedro to Host Hundreds of Teens at Warner Grand Theatre

The Relevant Stage Serves Area Schools on January 31 and February 2.

Working with Cliff Parks, Alex Chavez and Project TEAM (Teaching and Encouraging Academic Minds) as well as other schools from Long Beach and Los Angeles Unified School Districts, The Relevant Stage will play host to hundreds of students who will experience the production of Acts of Desperation at Warner Grand Theatre over two days during special weekday matinée performances.

Students from Renaissance High School, Lakewood High School, Millikan High School, Jordan High School, Long Beach Polytechnic High School, Woodrow Wilson High School, Port of Los Angeles High School, Rolling Hills High School, Mark Twain Middle School and Dana Middle School as well as others, will be in attendance.

A discussion panel consisting of the cast, filmmakers, director, artistic director, Senior Lead Officer Helen Pallares of the LAPD, Harbor Division and others will follow each free student performance.

There is still room for other schools to book their free seats, but time is running out.

No admission is charged, but schools are responsible for arranging their own transportation, and providing adequate supervision.
