Pope Francis Tells the Ecumenical Gathering in Abu Dhabi:

On February 4, 2024, Pope Francis sent a message to the participants of the 4th International Congress of PLURIEL (University Research Platform on Islam), which is taking place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, from February 4-7, 2024. This meeting brought together "57 speakers and chairpersons from 40 universities and research institutions across four continents" [1] for the sole purpose of studying the landmark document called the Joint Declaration on Human Fraternity, co-authored by Pope Francis. Basically, Pope Francis' message is the foundation for the work of bringing the entire religious and political worlds together.

Pope Francis went beyond simply advocating for unity. He stepped up the rhetoric and the pressure, calling on the leaders of the various religious traditions to "step outside" of their disciplines and get to "know and understand one another" in order to discover "common ground."

The Vatican Press Office reported the following about the Pope's remarks to the assembly:

• "Dear brothers and sisters, let us ensure that our dream of fraternity in peace is not confined to words! The word "dialogue" is, in fact, extremely rich and cannot be limited to discussions around a table. 'Approaching, seeking, listening, looking at, coming to know and understand one another, and to find common ground: all these things are summed up in the one word dialogue' (Fratelli tutti, no. 198). Do not be afraid to step outside your disciplines, remain curious, cultivate flexibility, listen to the world; do not be afraid of this world, listen to your brother whom you have not chosen but whom God has put beside you to teach you to love." [2]

By encouraging people to "step outside" of their religious disciplines and embrace his fraternity, which encompasses humanism, paganism, transgenderism, feminism, and every other anti-biblical ideology in the world, Pope Francis is pushing the entire world to join his global brotherhood. Prophecy correctly foretold that in the last days there would be an effort to compel everyone to join a large, multi-god, multi-religious fraternity. Revelation 18:2 describes this global movement as Babylon, which has turned into "the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird."

"And all the world wondered after the beast." Revelation 13:3.

"And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him (beast)." Revelation 13:8.

"These (kings) have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast." Revelation 17:13.

"For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies." Revelation 18:3.

As the whole world is being seduced to participate in the Pope's global movement of unity, this is no time for compromise. This is not the time to "step out" of the faith of Jesus. Heeding the Pope's message will lead to the systematic dismantling of God's truth. It will also lead to the revocation of the constitutional rights of sovereign nations and the loss of civil and religious liberties.

Seventh-day Adventists must continue to give the Third Angel's Message, which warns against the beast and its image, when civil powers enforce the teachings of Rome. This is the heart of the whole matter during the final crisis, which proves once again that the message ordained by God to be given in these last days is relevant, applicable, and a necessary warning to everyone. The entire world is turning to Rome, and we have been given the mission to turn people's attention to God-to worship the Creator and not the beast, to keep God's commandments and not the coming Sunday law of the Antichrist's New World Order.

"In the issue of the contest, all Christendom will be divided into two great classes (not one universal fraternity),-those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus, and those who worship the beast and his image and receive his mark" (Great Controversy, p. 450).
