Two Bradenton Christian School seniors sign to play college sports
Two seniors at Bradenton Christian School signed college sports commitment letters yesterday surrounding by their fellow classmates. Landry Miller will be playing golf at Southeastern University and Olivia McDaniel will be playing volleyball at Broward College.Landry Miller has attended Bradenton Christian School since the 1st grade and has played on the golf team since 7th grade. Landry made the all-conference team and was the Captain this past season. Also in his senior year, he was the medalist in all but two of the matches he played. His season best was 3-under par 33. He won the Manatee County High School Championship, finished runner up at districts and placed 6th at regionals. He was coached by Joel Van Ryn. Landry will be playing golf at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida and will be coached by Steve Phelps where he plans to study business.
Olivia McDaniel has attended Bradenton Christian School for two years and has played volleyball all four years of high school. As captain this past year, she made the all-conference team and finished 5th in the state for digs. She also won the Wendy’s Heisman High School award and the tournament MVP at the Mustang Invitational. She was coached by Andrea Kneser. Oliva will be playing volleyball at Broward College in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where she will be playing the position of defensive specialist and will be coached by Kathryn Williams. Olivia plans to study nursing.
