Extreme Blog Makeovers?

01-16-2006 09:42 AM CET | IT, New Media & Software

Press release from: Troll Baby Graphics

With blogs popping up at an enormous rate, blog services seem to be taking the internet by storm. There are counters, traffic boosters, affliate programs, and even people you can hire to write your blog for you while you're away.

People work hard on their blogs. They put forth hours of effort, and lay their personal thoughts, and opinions, out on the line for the world to see. For the author, reflecting who you are in your blog is important to convey to your readers. It keeps them captivated. It keeps them coming back for more, wanting to know what will happen next in your life, in your head and in your heart and soul. There is a lot of passion on the internet lately.

Another part of blogging is the design. When starting out, most blogs are put on a cookie-cutter design and it isn't long before authors seek out individuality in the look of their blog.

Designer Karen Rani's new venture, Troll Baby Graphics, is hosting an Extreme Blog Makeover Contest. No strings attached. Entrants simply have to email TBG with their current url. Don't have a blog? No problem. Troll Baby Graphics will set one up on Blogspot, free of charge.

The Grand Prize is as follows:

- Design and Layout of a New or Existing Blog.
- 2 Buttons.
- 1 choice of a Blog Explosion Banner Set (3 Banners), or 2 Teasers for forums, and email signatures.

Draw to be held January 21st, 2006. Submissions will be accepted until January 20th at NOON, E.S.T.

Troll Baby Graphics is a new jump-off site from the well-known blog, Troll Baby. Troll Baby Graphics was born from readers requesting designs like the ones Karen Rani was using for her own blog. Now she's ready to take the blog world by storm by making custom designs, one blog at a time. Her goal is to get a vision for who her customers are, and create a design based on everything they wish to present to the blogging world. "It's a personal process. I read the customers' entire blog, start to finish. We talk on the phone, or over Instant Messaging. I get a good feel for who people are, and create based on that." ~Karen Rani

Business has been so good in a few short weeks, Karen hasn't had time to update the Graphics website with new designs. She hopes to offer free blogskins and graphics on her new site, once it opens.

Karen lives in Ontario Canada, with her husband Daren, and two sons.
