Adventists in Mexico Participated in the 2023 Interreligious

"Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables." Acts 6:2.

There are signs indicating that the effort to break down the major divisions in Christendom is in full swing. Despite the fact that the various churches have theological disagreements, and it could be said that they are poles apart, the work of ministering to the spiritual needs of the people with the everlasting gospel of Revelation 14 is being replaced with social activism. The early church worked to save the soul rather than just alleviating the physical body. We have a special message of salvation that must be conveyed to sinners by pointing them to the law of God and the faith of Jesus (Revelation 14:12). Unfortunately, this work is being exchanged for the never-ending struggle to solve all the temporal problems of this world. Thanks to ecumenism, the churches of today are abandoning the work of offering eternal life in exchange for serving tables, promoting world peace and establishing harmonious coexistence.

This was clearly evident during the recent 2023 Interreligious Fair for Peace that was held in Sonora, Mexico. The social gospel has become the foundational basis for many Seventh-day Adventists to join with Roman Catholics and Evangelicals to "combine" each other's "doctrines" and efforts in order to establish a new harmonious coexistence. The local news reported about how the churches are blending their different religious beliefs into a new religious framework based on a social mission.

This was a new community partnership between all the churches and the government, all working together for the same goal. Politicians were urging religious organizations to cooperate with the state to advance the "well-being" of its citizens. The problem with this is that the secular government's social agenda on abortion, the LGBT+ movement, feminism, forced health mandates, and other ideologies can sometimes be in conflict with the word of God. These kinds of partnerships undermine the true mission of the church. When churches collaborate with the state, they lose their autonomy and their spiritual emphasis. This always results in the corruption of the pure gospel of Christ, as well as discrimination and persecution against those who choose not to participate or who hold opposing views.

Rome's interest in fostering these church-state relationships and urging all the churches to unite with her is undeniable. As the world moves in this direction, the various churches, including state governments, are becoming increasingly intertwined. In his encyclical Fratelli Tutti, Pope Francis calls for improved relations between all people and the visible unification of all religions into a single body. This can only happen when we abandon truth in exchange for a non-biblical false unity that will lead to the Sunday Law crisis.

"Church and state are now making preparations for the future conflict. Protestants are working in disguise to bring Sunday to the front, as did the Romanists. Throughout the land the papacy is piling up her lofty and massive structures, in the secret recesses of which her former persecutions are to be repeated. And the way is preparing for the manifestation, on a grand scale, of those lying wonders by which, if it were possible, Satan would deceive even the elect" (Testimonies, Vol. 5, p. 449).

Ellen G. White's Warning and Its Fulfillment in Worldly Adventist Academies
On December 16, 2025, the Seventh-day Adventist Academy in Pulierranghy, India, held a Christmas program that featured numerous Santa Clauses, played by students and faculty. [1] The students jumped, shouted, and danced to loud music, while the staff on stage moved in a manner reminiscent of pure paganism. Ellen G. White issued one of her most solemn end-time warnings-one that speaks to many of our institutions. Referring to a bedlam of

Pope Leo XIV to Ecumenical Leaders: "We Are One, Let's Make It Visible"
Ecumenism is indeed fulfilling prophecy-but not the prophecy God calls His people to advance or embrace. The world is being drawn into a single religious and political body, as revealed by Scripture: "And all the world wondered after the beast" (Revelation 13:3). This is not a revival of godliness; it is universal apostasy-a global movement that, under the appearance of unity, peace, and love, is leading people away from Bible

What is now evident is that the initiative to establish Sunday as a uniform day of rest is much further along than initially thought. The president of the Heritage Foundation, Kevin Roberts, has already actively participated in formal public policy discussions related to the document "Saving America by Saving the Family: A Foundation for the Next 250 Years" with members of the U.S. Congress and the Trump administration.
