A suitable lighting atmosphere on the patio gives you a feeling of safety and well-being. Dimmed light is wonderfully relaxing and sets the perfect mood for a convivial evening with family or friends. Brighter lighting conditions, on the other hand, are ideal for reading, while coloured light conjures up a special atmosphere.

Setting the ideal tone
The manufacturer markilux makes all this possible with its designer awnings. Optionally, they can be combined with LED lighting to excellent effect which bathes the surroundings in accentuating, mood-creating or bright light for those warm summer evenings outdoors, depending on their type and function. There are infinitely dimmable spotlights to create attractive lighting which accentuates features of the awning cover and façade. Also dimmable, the LED Line lights up the wall of a house and the cover indirectly, whereby the light is directed downwards. A separate light bar attached to the wall under the awning is also available. Or you can opt for the "MX-1 compact" model, with special ambient lighting that creates effective backlighting behind the front styling panel.

Coloured light on awnings
The new "MX-4" model offers a special lighting options combining spotlights, LED Line and separate lights in the same design as the awning as well as warm white and coloured lighting to create a unique symphony of light. Lighting scenarios can also be defined as desired. The LEDs can either be operated by remote control or incorporated into a home automation system and controlled by smartphone or tablet. And no matter which markilux patio awning you choose, it can generally be equipped with a suitable lighting system so that you can enjoy your own outdoor area to the full in summer.
