Evaluator test station for fuel cell testing

FuelCon released new version of operating software for Evaluator test stations

The new release of the software TestWork provides strong tools for a more convenient operation of complex test systems or test fields for fuel cells and batteries. With the launch of “TestWork 7” the software already convinced with a completely new designed graphical user interface and its intuitive operation. “TestWork 8” now comes with further enhanced features.

One significant innovation of “TestWork 8” suite is the fusion of customer and test station terminology. Lead times of internal process chains are reduced severely, which enables to react to fast changing requirements with only small effort. This is made possible through a new developed software module, allowing a greater transparency for the integration of FuelCon test station. As a combination of a test station dictionary and further dictionaries for all included devices, the operator is now provided with an enhanced translation level for the definition of so-called tags. Only the assignment of a unique tag name assures that a test program can run also on another test station and can be therefore used universally. Especially for operating a test field, this feature is essential. With the new software module of TestWork 8 FuelCon customer can choose either using the pre-defined system names or their own names. This makes also the integration of test item interfaces easier. Thus, TestWork significantly differs from other software solutions for test systems.

Of course, TestWork 8 still supports the comfortable multi-screen work. With its powerful interfaces, the software can be also adapted to most different customer requirements. Furthermore, TestWork 8 comes up with an extensive performance enhancing. The test evaluation processes are triple optimized and with the implementation of a Streaming method, data transfer times could be reduced drastically. An intelligent process compromises all raw data prior the transfer without loss of information. And the ideal use of the 64Bit technology allows now also handling of extremely large data quantities. Besides the almost immediate display of the data in trend or characteristic diagrams, especially the export tool benefits from these new developments. The option of exporting data by using the latest MDF formats (3.0 and 4.1) makes the user experience of a convenient and fast data analysis perfect.

About FuelCon:

Consequently intelligent: that’s how we love solutions. FuelCon is the global leading supplier of test and diagnostic systems for fuel cells and batteries. For years, our name is recognized for innovative engineering and high quality, for highest safety standards and close consultation with our costumer.

With our testing systems for fuel cells we offer optimal solutions for all typical technologies like PEM, DMFC, SOFC or MCFC in a power range between a few watts up to 150kW. In addition, innovative test systems for evaluating electrolyser are available. With the “Evaluator-B” series we have developed a concept that fulfils the challenging testing requirements of modern batteries with high accuracy and flexibility. The test systems enable the comparison, evaluation and optimization of battery cells and packs, as well as simulation of different requirements for customized applications.
