CU1 Gallery presents Stefan Szczesny
A former protagonist of the bold figurative painters of the “Neue Wilde” (Nouveaux Fauves), Szczesny is widely known for his exuberant and sensual style celebrating the beauty of life. The latter he finds in Southern regions—since 2001 he has been a resident of Saint-Tropez; and he is a regular visitor to Miami, whose unique mix of cultures he enjoys.
The exhibition at CU1 Gallery will present an extraordinary series of paintings on photographic images of these two locations. Szczesny will also showcase a premier selection of his well-known shadow sculptures.
CU1 Gallery boasts one of the finest exhibition spaces in Miami and is conveniently located in downtown Miami, south of the Wynwood Art District. During the art week, the gallery will be open from 10am through 7pm.
