GCI RESIDENTIAL AND LUMER REAL ESTATE ANNOUNCE GROUNDBREAKING OF BLÜ AVENTURA, A MIXED-USE DEVELOPMENT
MIAMI DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA (October 18, 2022): GCI Development of Beachwood, Ohio, and Lumer Real Estate of Sunny Isles, Florida, broke ground on their mixed-use development Blü Aventura on September 14, 2022 and begin construction this week. The project, located at the intersection of North Miami Gardens Drive and NE 24th Avenue, will be an upscale mixed-use development to include 700 midrise apartments with first floor retail and attached parking.
Blü Aventura will consist of two phases, West and East. GCI Construction will build the complex, and GCI Residential will manage it upon completion. The West phase is the first to begin construction with an anticipated opening date in early 2024.
The West and East phases of Blü Aventura will each include 26,800 square feet of street level retail space, and 350 apartments designed to appeal to the broad renter base of South Florida. The apartment mix will consist of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom suites ranging in size from 586-1636sf. Living spaces will feature patios/balconies, premium finishes including hardwood-inspired flooring, quartz countertops, California-style walk-in closets, designer light fixtures, washers and dryers, stainless steel appliance packages, frameless walk-in showers and more.
Planned as a smoke-free and pet-friendly development, Blü Aventura will feature market-leading amenities including saltwater pools, multi-story clubhouses, gaming lounges, outdoor entertaining spaces, elevators, garage parking, virtual golf simulator with putting green, and rooftop terraces with lounges and plunge pools.
