Press release from: Savvy Web Women

Melbourne, Australia – Many small businesses are still not fully utilising Facebook in marketing their products and services. Not many are also aware that being on this top social media site allows them to reach out and connect with their target market.

One Melbourne based savvy business owner recognises this and has, in fact, created an eBook to help business owners create custom tabs on their Facebook page. This is specifically aimed at further improving their social media presence on Facebook, saving cash and increasing market exposure.

The ebook reveals many ways of creating custom tabs for a stylish Facebook page, via the use of third party services. The tabs can be created within a Facebook page as a way to further provide visitors with more information about the business and its offerings or other incentives such as discounts and coupons.

“I see it all the time and I wanted to help out small businesses watching their bottom line,” said Wendy Chamberlain, founder of Savvy Web Women. “Businesses spend so much on creating glossy marketing material for use in the offline world and never think they can then put that same marketing material to use online. My eBook shows them how.”

Businesses, regardless of size, need to have a strong presence on Facebook these days. That makes good business sense. “Repurposing your existing marketing material that you’ve already paid good money to create is also good business sense,” says Chamberlain. “My eBook shows you the steps to create attractive tabs on Facebook. The steps are simple and easy to follow but I’m constantly surprised many businesses are still not leveraging this basic marketing tool.”

While some third party services require coding, there are others that are very easy to use via their drag and drop feature. Through her eBook “How to Create Custom Tabs on Facebook,” Chamberlain shares the different methods of adding custom tabs to a Facebook page. She shares the steps in simple English so any business owner, even with no technical or html background, can easily follow along, saving time and money.

Wendy Chamberlain is a trainer, speaker, international best-selling author and online engagement strategist who shares how you can easily use online strategies to connect with key stakeholders, influence decision makers and be seen as a thought leader, all via the use of social media.
