Awnings bring a coloured interplay of light to the façade

The "MX-4" is part of the markilux MX series. A series that focuses on a modern, timeless design for awnings. But this new model doesn't just want to sparkle with its look. It also wants to delight with a completely new world of light underneath the cover. A world of light that makes the cover and the wall of the house light up.

The "MX-4" from markilux turns your patio into a stage with the leading role being taken by the awning as its conically shaped cassette creates a genuine presence on the façade. The allround styling panel, available in seven standard colours, also plays a starring role. The same is true of the cassette which is also available in non-standard colours. The colours can be combined individually, resulting in an attractive contrast between the two.

Fantastic effects
Colour is also the subject of the model's lighting design because it can be equipped with many different kinds of LED light source. With an LED Line under the cover cassette, for example, or with swivelling and rotatable spots on the front panel. Both train a spotlight full of atmosphere on the cover and the housing. In addition, two spotlights can be integrated into the ends of the cassette. They create a beautiful cone of light on the wall that can shine upwards or downwards. This effect can be continued on the wall of the building by adding separate LED lights in the design of the awning.

Lots of light
A special highlight is the modern lighting technology which makes it possible to change the colour of the LEDs to suit the occasion and mood. From warm and cosy to colourful and inspiring. The RGB light sources make all this possible. You can program the colour changes using a hand-held transmitter with io radio technology or by using the "Philips Hue" app system or the Somfy "TaHoma Switch". This smart technology can also be controlled by voice and can be used effectively to stage your own magical light show in the evening. But, if you prefer a more neutral lighting effect, you can of course also opt for pure warm white light.

Durable technology
Along with its exciting colour options and the attractive design, the "MX-4" also offers lots of space under the awning cover. This is made possible by durable, low-maintenance technology. It also ensures that the housing closes well and that the awning looks like a natural part of the façade. Simple and effective at the same time.
