Association's Directory of Medicare Insurance Agents Achieves Record Growth

Find local Medicare insurance agents on the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance's free online directory
"In 2022, a record number of individuals accessed this valuable resource seeking local Medicare insurance professionals," reports Jesse Slome, director of the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance. The organization makes available the nation's leading free online resource for consumers.
"Medicare is a national program that benefits millions of Americans," Slome notes. "However, Medicare plan options, benefits and costs vary significantly and are based on specifically where you live. Once seniors understand that, they see the incredible value in finding and working with a local Medicare insurance professional."
The Association makes available the only independent resource that consumers have used for a decade to access and find local resources for information on available plan options. "In 2022 a record number of consumers utilized the Association's directory and while others may claim to offer similar resources, I'm pleased that so many seniors told us that no other similar avenue for comprehensive information exists."
The Medicare insurance expert points to the onslaught of television ads featuring celebrity spokespeople. "Even Congress has taken note of these ads which in many cases are confusing to consumers," Slome adds. "Consider that there are 4,100 different Medicare Advantage plans available currently across the United States. The typical senior will have 30 to 40 different plans available just in their location plus multiple Medigap options. You want someone local who understands what's available and can help you compare."
To use the Association's local Medicare insurance agent directory, go to https://www.medicaresupp.org/find-local-agent/. There is no charge and no personal information is entered to access the directory.
