3D Learning World by i40 and BMW wins eLearning Award 2023

Together with the BMW Group, we at i40.de are very pleased that our "GET E/EXCITED: 3D Learning World with Blended Learning for BMW's Digital Transformation" has won the prestigious eLearning AWARD 2023 in the category "3D Learning World".

GET E/EXCITED is a group-wide qualification and motivation platform to anchor the transformation at BMW to e-mobility and digital car among employees as well as managers in all areas. In addition to a 3D WBT, in which as a didactic feature the virtual learning companion "IPA" (Intelligent Personal Assistant), with which the learners "drive through" the WBT is integrated, a learning show in presence is also an integral part of the overall concept, which ignites the motivation for the complete learning concept with a wide variety of elements such as a detailed 3D model of the interior and exterior of the BMW iX, animations, self-programmable robotics and much more and supports the high identification of the learners with the content.

"Learning of the future and for the future takes people on the learning journey and best of all, without them realizing they are learning. We are very pleased at i40 that with the 3D learning world GET E/EXCITED we found a sophisticated and innovative training concept that conveys the complexity of digital transformation with ease and depth at the same time, and where employees across the group have the opportunity to encounter the company's goals in a fun way, up close and personal. " Dr. Philipp V. Ramin, CEO, i40.de - the future skills company

"For the learning companion, we used the real world, the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant (IPA) - in real life an AI via voice control for the driver and in the virtual learning car a learning companion with wit and humor" Sophia Obermeier, Project Manager, 3D WBT with Learning world, i40 - the future skills company

"By combining the physical learning world of the learning show - Meeting Point Production - and the virtual 3D-WBT, we have created GET E/Excited with a blended learning approach, a learning experience, in which the novel experience of E/E (electronics/electrical) becomes possible." Benedikt Dirscherl, Head of Content and COO, i40 - the future skills company

"With our GET E/EXCITED training series, we took the approach very early on of designing an interactive format to stir up and promote enthusiasm for software in vehicles. The goal was to not have people even realize they were doing training, but to really just experience it." Dr. Alexander Hof, Education Manager, BMW Group

"It's important for us that every employee really knows and understands how our vehicles of the future are built and developed. And E/E - electrics and electronics - plays a major and decisive role here!" Nicole Reitmeier, Production Academy, BMW Group

We are pleased to be awarded with the eLearning Award 2023 in the category 3D- Learning World by Siepmann Media's eLearning Journal.
