Happy winner, pleased jury

Mrs. Susanne Thomanek, a graduated engineer, is the winner of the scholarship in the amount of EUR 17,700 which was awarded by the daily newspaper DER STANDARD for the Masterprogam General Management MBA.

Susanne Thomanek convinced the committee. In the jury were following experts: corporate consultant Dr. Marie Luise Buxbaum, Dr. Herbert Kotzab of the Copenhagen Business School, Mag. Heidi Aichinger (DER STANDARD) as well as the academic director Prof.Dr. Adolf Stepan and representatives from the Continuing Education Center TU Vienna - Mag. Petra Aigner and Mag.(FH) Martina Prosinger.

Susanne Thomanek is the director and holder of the company airmici Designprodukte Handels GmbH that was founded by her in 2005. The young businesswoman is the inventor of inflatable boot moulders which make sure that boots keep their shape even then when they are not worn. Therefore an established economic education is very important to the graduated architect. Mrs. Thomanek is anxious about the MBA program which will start in October 2007. She is looking forward to use this learned knowledge in her company.
