Miami Event Businesses and Professionals Named Finalists for the 2007 Event Solutions Spotlight Awards

MIAMI, July 18, 2007—Miami-area event industry professionals and organizations have taken the prestigious 2007 Event Solutions Spotlight Awards by storm. The national awards are given annually to the best players in the special event industry by Event Solutions event industry magazine, and winners are chosen by an online vote. Of the 105 finalists from around the world, 15 are from the Miami area (see list below).

Winners will be announced at the Event Solutions Spotlight Awards event, Thurs. Aug. 23, 2007, from 6:30 p.m. - 1:00 a.m., in Miami, Fla., in the Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts. Event Solutions magazine has presented the Spotlight Awards to top event industry professionals for the past 10 years. More than twenty award categories honor people and companies in a wide variety of disciplines necessary to produce excellent events.

The same evening, the Event Solutions Event Industry Hall of Fame Award presentations will be made to industry luminaries whose work has impacted the history of event production. The evening includes a cocktail reception, dinner, entertainment, the Spotlight Awards and Hall of Fame presentations and an after-party celebration.

About the Spotlight Awards and Event Solutions magazine

The 2007 Event Solutions Spotlight Awards event will be produced by The HAND Company of California, at the Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts. Following the state-of-the-art award presentations, guests will walk the red carpet to a dinner and after-party celebration at the Alfred I. Dupont building, with décor by Designs by Sean and catered by Touch Catering, both of Florida. The Spotlight Awards Event is a black tie affair with expected attendance of 400 to 500 of the industry’s top professionals.
