Visualise your dream project

Visualise your dream project

Innovative decking and cladding manufacturer Millboard has launched an online tool to help potential customers try out different combinations of their decking and cladding in various CGI locations.

Aimed at the domestic market, the new Visualiser tool gives homeowners access to the same sort of tool that designers and architects use to visualise projects.

The Visualiser offers four different scenarios in which to experiment: a small town house, a detached house, a semi and a roof terrace. Having selected one of these, users can then alter the decking and cladding options within the scene to get an impression of how the different textures and shades in the Millboard range will look. Further options enable users to take a virtual walk around their selections, so that specific elements can be examined close up.

Caroline Birdsall, Millboard’s Marketing Director, explained how the Visualiser will help prospective customers. “It is a great place for customers to start their journey as it lets them review the many options available to find those that will particularly fit in with each customer’s own vision. Once they have drawn up their shortlist, they can order free samples from us or visit approved Millboard Distributors to firm up their choices.”

The new tool can be found at millboard.co.uk/visualiser. It joins a wide range of online resources available to customers, which include a calculator to estimate the quantity and price of materials a project will require, and numerous ‘how to’ videos.
