Temperature Monitoring with IP-Thermometer
To monitor the temperature in a simple and reliable way without having to perform constant manual checks, so-called IP thermometers have been developed. IP thermometers, also called web or network thermometers, are measuring devices for continuous monitoring of temperature in sensitive environments.
Didactum Monitoring System 100
Didactum Monitoring System 100 is a measuring and monitoring device for monitoring temperature and other environmental as well as safety factors. A sensor for temperature measurement is already part of this IP thermometer. The measured data are stored in the integrated data logger of the device and can be displayed graphically in the form of diagrams and measurement curves. This data can be downloaded as a CSV or XML file and processed with data visualization tools or spreadsheet programs.
The IP thermometer has various alarm functions which notify you when the temperature is too low or too high. You can have these alarms sent by e-mail and/or SMS (via optional GSM modem). Furthermore, the network-based IP thermometer offers a built-in alarm map, which flashes the affected temperature sensors. This makes it even faster to determine the origin of the temperature alarm.
Monitoring other environmental and safety factors
In addition to the function as a pure IP thermometer, there is also the possibility of conversion to an IP thermo- and hygrometer including dew point monitoring, in order to also monitor the humidity (RH). For this purpose, simply connect the relative humidity sensor to the Didactum measuring and monitoring device 100.
Additional sensors, for monitoring and security of sensitive infrastructures are also available for the Didactum Measuring and Monitoring Device 100. These sensors allow early detection of risks such as smoke, fire, intrusion, unauthorized access or water leakage.

Smoke detectors for IT & serverroom
The IT and server room is one of the most important areas in a company. In most companies nothing works without the IT systems that are indispensable nowadays. If important IT systems fail, the employees often can no longer work. As administrators and IT decision-makers know, every unplanned IT failure usually costs a lot of money. To protect IT systems from risks, anti-virus software, firewall and backup solutions are used. According
Remote monitoring of house and building technology
In building services engineering, status and error messages are signalled via I/O contacts. Existing heating, ventilation, cooling and air conditioning systems report the current operating status via I/O contacts. In addition to maintenance messages, important error and fault messages are also transmitted via the I/O switching contacts available on the systems. These important status messages must be reliably transmitted to the building management software and also to the responsible facility
Remote monitoring of machines and plants via network
The manufacturer Didactum has developed a new product for monitoring industrial environments. With the new Didactum Monitoring System 300, business-critical equipment and systems can be protected in a holistic way around the clock. The Monitoring System 300 is installed on DIN-rail. On the main unit there are 6 connections for sensors. The user can put together his individual monitoring solution from the extensive sensor range. Within the scope of environmental monitoring,
Remote Monitoring of important rooms and systems
Production, storage, laboratory, technical and server rooms located in remote locations must never be left unobserved. Heating, ventilation, refrigeration or air conditioning systems in a branch office can also fail and cause considerable problems. The equipment and systems located in telecommunications, technical, server and laboratory rooms can be damaged very quickly at critical temperatures. If the temperature in the server cabinet reaches a critical level, hard disks can fail. In

Monitoring Concrete Curing Temperature
Using the Bestselling dataTaker DT80 Intelligent Data Logger CAS DataLoggers provided a local construction company with the data logging solution for one of their larger contracts. The customer needed to measure and monitor the curing progress of freshly-poured concrete to determine when the new structure could be loaded without causing damage to its foundations. With industry accepted concrete curing temperature methods, a newly-poured concrete structure does not reach full strength for
Workplace Environmental Monitoring Methods
TandD 3-in-1 Data Logger Measures Temp, Humidity, and CO2 CAS DataLoggers supplied the workplace environmental monitoring solution for a factory with a small series of office rooms experiencing serious air quality issues. Employees reported headaches during the work day, indicating a possible lack of adequate ventilation. These workspaces were located next to the busy factory floor and suffered from an incidental buildup of contaminants. Nominal CO2 values usually range within 600-800

Dam Monitoring During Construction
Intelligent Geo Data Logger Reads Vibrating Wire Sensors A hydroelectric dam under construction in Serbia required monitoring of several environmental and structural properties to guarantee long-term strength and stability. Therefore the dam’s construction engineers put forth a proposal for a large number of geotechnical sensors to be installed and used during construction. These sensors included vibrating wire piezometers, joint meters, fill extensometers, and strain gages. Each sensor needed to interface with
Fetal Monitoring Market
Fetal monitoring devices are used to monitor the heart rate and movement of the fetus and maternal contractions. In medical terms, fetal monitoring is imperative to constantly monitor health of the unborn baby and ensure a safe birth. Fetal monitoring measures the heart rate of the baby. Healthcare providers perform fetal monitoring during late pregnancy and labor, as that process is crucial for keeping the mother and the child safe
