Temperature Monitoring with IP-Thermometer

In many rooms, such as laboratories, server rooms, data centers, warehouses and many other areas, it is important that the temperature is constantly within the specified range. Deviations must not be tolerated in temperature-sensitive environments, otherwise important equipment, goods, medicines or vaccines can be damaged.

To monitor the temperature in a simple and reliable way without having to perform constant manual checks, so-called IP thermometers have been developed. IP thermometers, also called web or network thermometers, are measuring devices for continuous monitoring of temperature in sensitive environments.

Didactum Monitoring System 100

Didactum Monitoring System 100 is a measuring and monitoring device for monitoring temperature and other environmental as well as safety factors. A sensor for temperature measurement is already part of this IP thermometer. The measured data are stored in the integrated data logger of the device and can be displayed graphically in the form of diagrams and measurement curves. This data can be downloaded as a CSV or XML file and processed with data visualization tools or spreadsheet programs.

The IP thermometer has various alarm functions which notify you when the temperature is too low or too high. You can have these alarms sent by e-mail and/or SMS (via optional GSM modem). Furthermore, the network-based IP thermometer offers a built-in alarm map, which flashes the affected temperature sensors. This makes it even faster to determine the origin of the temperature alarm.

Monitoring other environmental and safety factors

In addition to the function as a pure IP thermometer, there is also the possibility of conversion to an IP thermo- and hygrometer including dew point monitoring, in order to also monitor the humidity (RH). For this purpose, simply connect the relative humidity sensor to the Didactum measuring and monitoring device 100.

Additional sensors, for monitoring and security of sensitive infrastructures are also available for the Didactum Measuring and Monitoring Device 100. These sensors allow early detection of risks such as smoke, fire, intrusion, unauthorized access or water leakage.
