Taylors Skip Hire Reveals Captain Tom Memorial Skip
Taylors Skip Hire has revealed a Captain Tom Memorial skip.The skip hire company, based in Redhill, Surrey, unveiled the skip following the death of Captain Tom Moore, who passed away on 2nd February 2021. The captain had become a national celebrity after raising money for charity during the COVID pandemic.
The Captain Tom Moore Memorial Skip features images of Captain Tom against a Union Jack background, and has the words "The sun will shine on you again and the clouds will go away" superimposed at the top - a statement Captain Tom made after he completed the 100th lap of his garden.
The first use of this skip was on the 18th February when it was delivered to a property in Reigate.
Commenting, a spokesperson for Taylors Skip Hire (https://www.taylorsskiphireltd.co.uk) said:
"Captain Tom truly captured the heart of the nation.
"We know he's been immortalised in countless ways by people across the UK, but we wanted to create a memorial to him in our own little way.
