SACA Technologies is a leading provider of business to business managed IT and cloud infrastructure services. We provide remote and onsite business to business computer repair, 24x7 helpdesk support, infrastructure virtualization & networking services to 1,000's of organizations nationwide. We are seeking telecommuting IT professionals (work from your home office) to join us in providing premier technical support and serve our rapidly expanding client base.
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum 4-6 years RECENT experience in providing remote/helpdesk computer support, including technical training.
- Must have a minimum 3-5 years RECENT experience working for a Managed IT Services Provider.
- Extensive experience in LAN and WAN configuration including LAN, VLAN, Managed Switches, Firewall Configurations, VPN configuration.
- Experience with Microsoft Terminal Services and Citrix XenApp.
- Experience in hardware provisioning, installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Expert knowledge of functionality, customization and networking within Windows environments.
- Extensive experience troubleshooting network server and workstation applications
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft OS 2000/2003/2008/XP/7, MS Office Suites, MS Exchange Server, Anti-virus Solutions
- True Technical & Working knowledge of Cisco Routers & Firewalls is a MUST.
- Able to communicate professionally and clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Must be very patient and able to deal with difficult customer situations!
- Have a great attitude and strong desire to help people.
- Ability to work independently.
Qualifications:
- Must have 3-5 years of work experience with a managed IT services company.
- Must have active technical certifications. MCITP and/or CCNA.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4 year university is required.
- In depth understanding of networking, operating systems, managed services.
- Excellent trouble-shooting skills and tenacity in problem solving.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and requests.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical customer support via telephone and remote control
- Report to Technical Support Manager to coordinate efforts and ensure client satisfaction.
- Prioritize customer service and support
