Press release from: Janco Incorporated

/ PR Agency: Industrial Traffic
Janco Incorporated, a provider of plastic fabricating in Dover, NH has recently announced acquisition of a new Multicam 3000 series router, an addition Janco representative, Tim McGonagle says will “Drastically improve our capabilities and our efficiency for projects ranging from plastic fabrication for the food service industry to the medical industry, and everything in between.”

The Multicam 3000 series router, designed by Multicam in Dallas, Texas is designed for a number of high performance applications with multi axis operation, high repeatability, high precision, automatic tool changing, and more. As McGonagle explains, the brand new machine will be “excellent for a wide range of projects, allowing us to route foam, plastic, and even metal if we need to.”

In the past, Janco used multiple tools to deliver the level of precision and efficiency they have been known for. Today, McGonagle explains “Janco will now be capable of an even greater level of efficiency and precision by taking full advantage of Multicam’s easy change head, 8 tool holders, and automatic tool changing.” He continues, “We could even cut a 3 inch round circle out of the middle of a piece of foam, and it would look like it was die cut. That’s a very unique feature and we’re excited to see what we can do with it.”

The new Multicam 3000 router also allows Janco to provide routing on a larger scale with the capability to work on a 60 x 120 surface at up to 24,000 RPM, an operating capability McGonagle mentions is, “Totally new to [Janco].”

According to McGonagle, the new routing machine is set up and “ready to go” with the plastic fabrication experts at Janco Incorporated currently “Working on some patient slides for a customer in the medical industry.” He explains that the machine has been especially nice to work with due to its ability to work on a material “no matter what size, shape, or color the products need to be. This makes it great for everything from medical products to case insert work.”
