Softing OPC Easy Connect Suite

Softing OPC Easy Connect Suite

Softing Industrial Automation GmbH is pleased to announce the new version of the Softing OPC Easy Connect Suite, offering end users new and extended functionality for increased data exchange security and performance.

The OPC Easy Connect Suite 2.0 includes the “OPC Tunnel” for barrier-free OPC communication between multiple OPC clients and servers. The new StoreAndForward functionality buffers the data if the connection is broken, and transmits it without data loss as soon as the connection has been reestablished. In addition, the OPC Easy Connect Suite 2.0 extends the choice of OPC communication options by providing Server2Server gateway and Client2Client gateway functionalities. Other components of the software suite allow writing OPC data to a SQL database or to files. The new integrated configurator makes it easy to quickly configure the OPC Easy Connect Suite 2.0 using drag and drop.

Softing Industrial Automation is a world-leading provider of industrial communication products and technologies used with devices, controls, and systems in manufacturing and process automation applications. The company's product range is tailored to the requirements of system integrators, device vendors, machine and equipment manufacturers, and end users.
