Luxembourg, 02 May 2007 – Merger creates leading provider of comprehensive content lifecycle solutions

Horus Finance, shareholder of the France-based company eurodoc/syselog, and Verlagsgruppe Georg von Holtzbrinck, shareholder of the Luxembourg-based company euroscript, today announced the completion of their agreement to merge euroscript and eurodoc/syselog to create a major and powerful service provider, offering comprehensive solutions along the content lifecycle.

The new company will legally trade under the name euroscript International S.A. On an operational level, the established brands (eurodoc, syselog, euroscript) will remain.

The merger creates a European-based company with global reach, annual revenues of around 85 M EUR and a representation of approximately 1,280 employees in 12 countries on three continents. Thus, the company is ideally positioned to address the fast growing enterprise content management market and to respond to the needs of customers in areas such as the public sector, manufacturing, financial services and utilities.

The management team of euroscript International is represented by:
Chief Executive Officer: Mark Evenepoel
Chief Financial Officer: Michael Such
Chief Operating Officer: Benoît Laxenaire

“By combining our expertise and strengths in multilingual content lifecycle solutions, we will be able to help businesses around the world manage content more efficiently,” said Mark Evenepoel. “Based on in-depth expertise in engineering, consulting, system integration and content processing, our services and solutions help customers design, build and run content management operations of all sizes.”

Benefits for customers
With a significantly increased global presence and strengthened in-house expertise, euroscript International will address the needs of companies and organisations for better, faster and more cost-effective enterprise content management solutions, helping customers meet compliance, time-to-market and other key business needs.

euroscript International’s wider global network, which includes locations in Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Latvia, Luxembourg, Poland, Romania, Switzerland and the Netherlands, plus strategic alliances in Argentina, China, Ireland and Malta will enable near- and offshore 24/7 content management services, and open up new opportunities for cross-border collaboration and knowledge transfer between markets. Customers around the world will benefit from access to a stronger product portfolio, including services and consulting in the areas of Engineering, System Integration, Enterprise Content Management, Business Process Services and Business Process Outsourcing. Customers also benefit from specific industry expertise in sectors such as the public sector, defence, manufacturing, aerospace, automotive and transport, financial services, telecom and media, and utilities.

“We’re excited about the potential that this merger represents — for us, for our current customers, and for our potential clients,” said Benoît Laxenaire. “Content management is becoming increasingly important to the success of companies today. With the newly-strengthened, more focused company structure, we are positioned to help our customers manage documents and content more efficiently, and more comprehensively, than ever before.”
