Comprehensive DXF and DWG support released by eDiscovery platform GoldFynch
Affordable eDiscovery platform GoldFynch has just released a major update, incorporating support for the DXF and DWG file formats. These file formats are used to modify, store, and transfer 2D and 3D models using the AutoCAD software. Though they are widely-adopted in fields like architecture, design, and engineering, there are few publicly-accessible eDiscovery services that are capable of reading the information stored in the formats, let alone rendering the complex models and images they contain for document review and production.GoldFynch's extensive support surpasses many common limitations that otherwise affect the eDiscovery process. It is compatible with both ASCII-formatted DXF files, as well as the generally unsupported binary format. Where a user would otherwise need to explicitly specify a 2D "view" (a region of user interest), angle, or layout of a 3D model to access it, GoldFynch can render all instances of them present in the file, whether specified or not. It can also render any defined paper layouts, and render the full "extent" of the paper layout, even if it extends beyond the paper itself. Other introduced features include "thawing" (i.e., making visible) all layers before rendering, setting colors to ensure all lines are visible, and pulling out metadata (like the date created, date last modified, etc.) from files and rendering them in a table.

Mazira is a software company that specializes in data transformation. Their original focus was on building custom software for small and medium companies to help manage a large number of documents. Since then they adapted their search engine and timeline technology to meet a growing need, especially in the local market, for easy-to-use, automated software that didn't require installation and training for users or involve extended sales processes. This became their flagship eDiscovery product, GoldFynch (www.goldfynch.com)
GoldFynch is an eDiscovery web service that is entirely cloud-based. It offers users a simple interface where they can easily drag-and-drop files (like PDF, MS Office documents, pictures, emails, etc.) that GoldFynch automatically imports, processes, scans, and indexes. Entities such as people, places, and dates are automatically extracted, and images of text are converted to computer-recognizable, fully-searchable documents through the process of OCR. GoldFynch's pricing is simple, transparent and upfront, and it is by far the most affordable eDiscovery platform. Access to the pricing, and to the service, is available on the website without the need for talking to sales or an RFP. Pricing is based on a case's volume, and GoldFynch allows users to effortlessly scale case sizes. It also offers a standalone free PST and OST viewer (https://goldfynch.com/goldfynch-pst-viewer)
