Jacksonville, Fla., July 29, 2019 – Freedom Boat Club Jacksonville is pleased to announce that Gracie Stack has been promoted to Julington Creek club manager. Stack will be responsible for ensuring all dock employees at the Julington Creek Freedom Boat Club location are properly trained to provide exceptional service to members. She will also be responsible for making sure the boats are clean and in top shape and will report to the director of club operations.

“Gracie has been a great asset to the club since joining our team last year,” said Lisa Almeida, co-owner of Freedom Boat Club. “She quickly mastered the duties on the dock and became a leader on our crew. I am sure she will shine in her new role as well.”

In addition to her duties as Julington Creek club manager, Stack also serves as a St. Johns County Marine Rescue lifeguard. Stack first joined Freedom Boat Club in October of 2018 as a dockhand at the St. Augustine location. She earned her associate degree in arts from the St. Johns River State College and is currently working towards a bachelor’s degree.

Stack grew up in St. Augustine where she currently lives with her husband, Liam. The two are involved with Christian Surfer and help lead group functions, cookouts, mission trips and surf contests in the surf community. When she isn’t working, you can find Stack at Vilano Beach either surfing or hunting for sharks teeth.
