Affordable cloud-based eDiscovery platform GoldFynch expands user roles for collaboration on cases

GoldFynch’s new ‘Reviewer’ user role lets you assign read-only privileges to collaborators on your case
Since its launch in 2016, the service has provided users with the option of sharing their cases with an unlimited number of collaborators at no additional cost. The latest expansion of this system offers a new read-only privilege class: ‘Reviewer.’ Reviewers are able to access all core review functions of a case including searching, tagging, redacting, and generating reports and productions. But they are unable to upload, move, edit, or delete information and metadata in the case like files, tags, saved searches, reports, and productions. They are also restricted from sharing cases and productions.
Apart from the ‘Reviewer’ role, the pre-existing ‘User’ role exists to provide standard read and write privileges to collaborators. They retain the ability to upload, move, edit, and delete information, and are also able to share productions. The ability to invite others to collaborate on a case and to manage user roles is limited to the ‘Admin’ and ‘Owner’ roles.

Mazira is a software company that specializes in data transformation. Their original focus was on building custom software for small and medium companies to help manage a large number of documents. Since then they adapted their search engine and timeline technology to meet a growing need, especially in the local market, for easy-to-use, automated software that didn’t require installation and training for users or involve extended sales processes. This became their flagship eDiscovery product, GoldFynch (www.goldfynch.com)
GoldFynch is an eDiscovery web service that is entirely cloud-based. It offers users a simple interface where they can easily drag-and-drop files (like PDF, MS Office documents, pictures, emails, etc.) that GoldFynch automatically imports, processes, scans, and indexes. Entities such as people, places, and dates are automatically extracted, and images of text are converted to computer-recognizable, fully-searchable documents through the process of OCR. GoldFynch’s pricing is simple, transparent and upfront, and it is by far the most affordable eDiscovery platform. Access to the pricing, and to the service, is available on the website without the need for talking to sales or an RFP. Pricing is based on a case’s volume, and GoldFynch allows users to effortlessly scale case sizes.
