Simple, straightforward design has been setting the tone for furniture and architecture for years now. Discreet colours with fine nuances
This is why awning specialist markilux is now offering its 970 model exclusively in seven subdued non-colour tones to complement its purist form: from white through grey and anthracite to beige and brown tones. The colours for cassette and front styling panel can be combined freely. This results in fine colour nuances. If you like an even more elegant look, choose from one of three anodised colours for the front panel, in silver, light bronze or black with a brushed textured appearance. These can be enhanced using awning covers from the manufacturer's own collection to give a tone-in-tone look.

Resolute minimalist look
With its business-like style, the awning looks particularly good on modern, cubic houses. New ambient lighting integrated into the cassette underlines the minimalist look. A slimline LED Line or LED Spots ensure discreet lighting effects on the façade and awning. Furthermore the cassette snuggles up tight against the wall of the house without making the fixture brackets visible. This makes this sun protection product appear to be at one with the architecture. Although the awning has a graceful build, it can provide shade for patios and balconies of up to six metres in width. It can be operated manually or using an io radio-controlled motor and can thus be controlled digitally as well. Furthermore, an extra option can be added, too: an additional vertical blind called a 'Shadeplus? which protects residents from the glare of a low-lying sun and offers them privacy, as well.
