Getting down to business at the CESA LETG Forum

Getting down to business at the CESA LETG Forum

See the next generation of ‘must have’ foodservice ideas at the CESA Light Equipment and Tableware Forum, Ascot March 15 and Doncaster March 17 2011.

Wouldn’t it be great to know which gadgets and gizmos are going to be the next ‘must haves’ in commercial kitchens? The CESA Light Equipment and Tableware (LET) Forum is the annual opportunity for foodservice equipment buyers, both distributors and end-users, and distributor sales staff to check out the very latest products.

There’s always a huge variety on show, ranging from new food display systems and the latest chef’s knives to induction hobs and designer tableware. Attendees have the opportunity to talk to suppliers, see demonstrations and get practical ‘hands on’ experience of a host of new ideas.

The event was previously known as the CESA Utensils Group Forum. The name change to ‘Light Equipment and Tableware’ is new for 2011 is designed to more accurately reflect the products on show.

The Forum is both valuable and free to attend, so it is always a popular event. Following the big increase in demand for spaces in 2010, this year for the first time there will be two events, both at racecourses: the first one at Ascot on 15th March and the second at Doncaster on the 17th March 2011.

All those involved in buying equipment or selling it to operators within the commercial catering market are welcome to attend, for free, but spaces have to be pre-booked. Each Forum lasts from 9.30am until 3.30pm. A three-course lunch and refreshments are provided and there will be an opportunity to have a guided tour of the event’s venue.

“This is the simplest and best way for chefs, buyers and distributors to cast their eye over the runners and riders in the race to be the next ‘big idea’ in foodservice kitchens,” says Stephen Goodliff, chair of the CESA LET Group. “It’s always a really interesting day and there’s no doubt that attendees get a huge amount out of it.”

To book a place, simply call CESA on 0207 793 3030, email enquiries@cesa.org.uk or visit the registration page online at www.cesaevents.co.uk/letforum2011
