GamersFirst, today’s most popular Free2Play destination, is celebrating the holidays offering several in-game holiday promotions (beginning Dec. 22) in flagship MMO games, Knight Online, Sword 2 and War Rock through the new year (Jan. 3, 2011).
Knight Online (GamersFirst.com/KnightOnlineWorld) – Knight Online releases 4 new holiday quests for the holiday season.
- Quest 1: Help Parfait decorate her tree and you’ll have an 8% chance of looting a Christmas Crystal and will receive one of various items; a Snowman Transformation Scroll, Candy Cane, or various accessories.
- Quest 2: Santa Claus himself needs help gathering Gift Materials to receive a festive Santa Hat, after facing a string of boss monsters in El Morad or Luferson Castles.
- Quest 3: Help Okan collect Heroes’ Seal’s. Collect all four seals – Warrior, Mage, Rogue, and Priest – then present Okan with a full set. He’ll give you a random Weapon or Armor in return.
- Quest 4: Rudolph the Reindeer has been grounded! Dig up 10 Flying Powder and 10 Lost Gift so that Rudolph can get back to work, you’ll need a Mattock to mine for items.
War Rock (GamersFirst.com/WarRock) – War Rock unleashes Broken Sunset, the newest addition to Zombie mode in War Rock. In addition, Lucky Shot has launched.
Lucky Shot is a game of chance offering players the opportunity to win certain guns and items in game. Holiday promotions include:
- Frosty Frag Fest – including a snowball fight (in x-Red Clover only)
- 3 NEW Christmas maps including x-Velruf, x-Marien and x-Red Clover
- Character snowman heads and x-mas grenades
- Previously unreleased red versions of specified weapons
Sword 2 (GamersFirst.com/Sword2) – The Sword 2 team has come out with some special holiday exclusive items that are sure to make the holiday bright in addition on a couple of in-game events and missions.
- In-game event at Nimraldi Bridge – Take on 3 missions from NPC Santa Nunez to help him rescue his kidnapped reindeers. Players can receive prizes and Christmas Coins for their assistance.
- Christmas Coins can be traded with the Christmas Rapper for special prizes, including an exclusive Rudolph Pet.
