Harvey Nash subsidiary presents expert services to telecom operators in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia region

Nürnberg/Germany, 10th September 2010 – For the first time Nash Technologies will be present at GITEX/GULFCOMMS, the largest international trade event for mobile, fixed, IP and satellite communications for the Middle East, Africa and South Asia region, in Dubai from 17th to 21st October 2010 offering its telecom expert services. Nash Technologies will be part of a wider German trade and invest delegation that offers German telecom engineering expertise to customers in the region.

“We treat the Middle East and Africa region as important market. Our long lasting experience in developing, testing and optimizing telecommunication infrastructure positions us as ideal partner for network operators. The benchmarking and optimization of the network performance is a key enabler for satisfying the end customer and leads finally to sustainable return of investments. Our lab outsourcing offering allows cost savings to operators and helps reducing the lead time for the introduction of new network functionality with improved quality”, says Dr. Markus Ermer, CTO at Nash Technologies.

Nash Technologies has a strong track record in wireless integration and validation and supports operators introducing latest feature functionality, like e.g. All-IP, HSUPA, 64-QAM into the network. Nash Technologies operates over-the-air test networks ranging from 2G to the latest 4G. Its highly integrated 3G and 4G testing facilities rank among the largest supplier and operator independent wireless labs in the world. Nash Technologies has extensive, hands-on expertise in terminal integration and interoperability test execution.

Nash Technologies’ over-the-air live UMTS/HSPA+ test network covering an area of about 25 square kilometers is ideally suited for performance benchmarking and optimization under realistic conditions including interoperation between wireless technologies of different generations.

Besides traditional network topology Nash Technologies, together with leading industry partners, promote femto cell concepts that provide wireless coverage in buildings thus offloading macro networks respectively extending coverage in certain areas. With its FemtoPHY product, Nash Technologies offers a vital part of the femto software stack to customers. In its labs Nash Technologies also provides femto network testing capabilities.
