GoldFynch has introduced new features for stamping in its Productions system

Cloud-based eDiscovey platform GoldFynch has added a number of new features to document stamping in its ‘Production’ system. Existing features included Bates numbering and stamping using 'tags’ (its internal file-labeling system,) stamp positioning on documents, and prioritizing stamp placement.

Based on user and community feedback, it has now added the ability to edit the text of stamps placed by tags, add custom stamps in bulk, and assign additional margin space if existing stamping on documents needs to be accounted for. The updates work towards the platform’s larger goal of providing small and medium-sized law firms with easy-to-use eDiscovery tools that meet the majority of users’ needs, and avoiding unnecessary features that commonly inflate prices while transferring costs down to the end users.

Mazira is a software company that specializes in data transformation. Their original focus was on building custom software for small and medium companies to help them manage a large number of documents. Since then they adapted their search engine and timeline technology to meet a growing need, especially in the local market, for easy-to-use, automated software that didn’t require installation and training for users or involve extended sales processes. This became their flagship eDiscovery product, GoldFynch (www.goldfynch.com)

GoldFynch is an eDiscovery web service that is entirely cloud-based. It offers users a simple interface where they can easily drag-and-drop files (like PDF, MS Office documents, pictures, emails, etc.) that GoldFynch automatically imports, processes, scans, and indexes. Entities such as people, places, and dates are automatically extracted, and images of text are made recognizable and fully searchable through the process of OCR. GoldFynch’s pricing is simple, transparent and upfront, and by far the most affordable eDiscovery platform. Access to the pricing, and to the service, is available on the website without the need for talking to sales or an RFP. Pricing is based on a case’s volume, and GoldFynch scales with the case.
