Virtuosity OA is certified to the Open Group FACETM Technical Standard, making it an optimal solution for aerospace and defense product developers building next-generation systems. Running on a ruggedized tablet and connected to SNC's network, Virtuosity OA provides a stable foundation for the Army Crew Mission Station (CMS) Software that keeps warfighters informed, and gives them the edge they need to complete their missions successfully.
DornerWorks Virtuosity OA successfully integrated the Army CMS software, demonstrated on a SNC ruggedized tablet at the FACE Technical Interchange Meeting in Huntsville, Alabama, on September 18, 2018. The integration proves that product developers aren't restricted to costly proprietary environments when prototyping solutions for the strict requirements of aerospace and defense.
DornerWorks has a proven history of guiding aerospace and defense projects to success, and has won multiple SBIR contracts including Navy SPAWAR demonstrating, "Isolation Techniques for Untrusted Software," using a Type-1 hypervisor on a laptop and an embedded ARM processor platform, along with an ARINC 653 scheduler, to run multiple Linux partitions. A DARPA SBIR demonstrated, “A Space-qualified Hypervisor Designed to Support the Virtualization of Satellite Payloads.”
