eCRM solution supports SAP-based service processes

Bonn, July 8th 2010 - artegic’s new ELAINE FIVE Online Dialogue CRM offers industrial enterprises with centralised SAP infrastructures a compatible interface with this new version of eCRM software. By linking SAP R/3 and SAP XI, bi-directional data transfer will become possible, e. g. from profile or transaction data. artegic has thus created a vital platform to efficiently build and expand online dialogue marketing tools.

An essential basis for the professionalisation of online dialogues

A recent industrial study carried out by artegic confirmed that industrial enterprises are rushing to catch up in the areas of email and online dialogue marketing. According to the study, almost three quarters of participants see an increase in the significance of email-supported direct marketing. The new version of eCRM software ELAINE with its SAP interface provides the best pre-requisite.

A solution with simple operation and automatic synchronisation

ELAINE’s user-friendly management or handling enables easy exchange of profile and transaction data between systems. Newly created data fields in SAP are automatically synchronised in the same way as new attributes or new values. Additionally, the linking via the SAP Process Integration (SAP PI, formerly SAP Exchange Infrastructure XI)is possible. The middleware of the SAP NetWeaver module links SAP and non-SAP systems.

“Service processes, which from experience, are particularly important for customer retention in the B2B sector, can now be supported in a sustainable way thanks to the interfaces”, says Stefan von Lieven, artegic CEO, about the most important benefit of the new eCRM suite for industrial enterprises. The expanded features of the new solution have developed not least due to the intensive collaboration with artegic's customers. “In this way, we could ensure that our improvements are tailor-made for the specific requirements of each enterprise. This also applies for the industry sector, where online dialogue marketing is becoming a leading topic this year", concludes Stefan von Lieven.
