Palm Beach Imperials Release Highly Anticipated Season Schedule at FAU
Boca Raton, FL – October 10, 2006 - The ABA Palm Beach Imperials announced today that they have released their season schedule available at www.palmbeachimperials.com. The schedule lists their nineteen away games as well as their eighteen home games which are played in the arena, otherwise known as “The Burrow”, at FAU campus off of Glades road just east of I-95 in Boca Raton.The Palm Beach Imperials greatly anticipated inaugural season will begin in November of 2006, with its first home game against the Jacksonville Jam November 21 at 7:05pm at FAU.
The regular season is slated to run until the middle of March. After the regular season, the exciting ABA single elimination tournament will begin in order to crown an ABA Champion. Last year, an expansion team, The Rochester Razorsharks brought home the ABA title.
The Imperials squad looks to be a successful one this coming season, having impressed critics in the high scoring, high action, and high flying inter-squad exhibition game last Sunday as well as with its successful 4-1 summer exhibition schedule.
Head Coach and General Manager Lamont Carr commented on the season opener and the upcoming inaugural season.
“The season is finally coming. The team has been working hard for half a year now and I think the fans are going to be very impressed. We have been slowly building our organization for success and now the time has come to execute. Come November 21st its game time.”
