Berlin, Germany—August 28, 2006—ilink Kommunikationssysteme GmbH announced today that it will offer a multi-vendor audio platform that will allow businesses to integrate audio conferencing collaboration and telephony features into their IBM Lotus Sametime 7.5 deployment.TeamCall Audio Conferencing for IBM Lotus Sametime is designed to provide customers with a full set of audio conferencing functions without requiring them to leave their web conferencing context. Additionally, Sametime Instant Messaging is enhanced by telephony features such as screen popup with caller details for incoming calls.
The TeamCall Audio Conferencing for IBM Lotus Sametime platform supports a wide variety of phone systems including Siemens HiPath 3xx0/4xx0, HiPath 5000, and HiPath 8000, Alcatel 4x00, Avaya Tenovis Integral series, Avaya Definity G3 and Multivantage S8x00 series, Nortel Meridian1, Ericsson MD110, Cisco CallManager, and others. This wide coverage is especially beneficial to customers with diverse phone systems installed at different places who desire to provide an equivalent service throughout their enterprise and with a minimal amount of installation complexities.
