Grupo ASSA recognized as one of the best companies to work for by Great Place to Work®
(Buenos Aires, November 11, 2009) Grupo ASSA (grupoassa.com) a Consulting and Outsourcing company that helps its clients with their Business Process Transformation through Information Technology, was identified by the Great Place to Work Institute® as one of the 50 best companies to work for in Argentina. In just its second year participating in the Ranking, Grupo ASSA improved on its ranking from the year before, placing 31st.
Employees of the company pointed to the Vos Elegis 2.0 (You Chose 2.0) program, the existence of special programs that facilitate the integration of disabled people, and the ability to count on group collaboration, as key factors that make Grupo ASSA a great place to work.
The Vos Elegis 2.0 program provides every employee with an equal number of points in their own personal account that can be accumulated and changed at any time for their choice of products and services from leading brands.
The Vos Elegis 2.0, RedASSA – Recommendations, and SPA – Ser Protagonista en ASSA (Be a Protagonist at ASSA) programs developed by Grupo ASSA were included in the Best Practices Report released by the Great Place to Work® Institute Argentina.
Of the 50 companies that make up the 2009 Ranking, Grupo ASSA is one of only 10 that were founded in Argentina while the rest are subsidiaries of international corporations. Also noteworthy is the fact that of the 50 companies, 8 are from the Information Technology industry.
In the 2009 Ranking of the Best Companies to Work for, 52,000 employees from 122 companies participated by filling out a voluntary anonymous survey that asked them to evaluate the conduct of their companies in terms of Credibility, Respect, Impartiality, Pride, and camaraderie.
“It is very important for us to be once again included amongst the best companies to work for and above all, to have received a high level of participation and input from our employees. This input allows us to identify areas to improve up on and to keep working on improving the long-term relationships that we want to develop with our employees,” Cynthia Rubin, Human Resources Manager at Grupo ASSA.
“Programs like Vos Elegis, RedASSA – Recommendations, and Spa – Ser Protagonista en ASSA, allow us to support and guide the careers of our employees in a dynamic organization that was founded in Argentina and today supplies technological services to the world following international standards. Being included by Great Place to Work in the Best Practices category is an additional award that we never imagined.” Hernán Pisotti, Manager of Training and Culture at Grupo ASSA.
Since 2002, Great Place to Work has conducted its ranking in Argentina, following the international methodology designed by its founder, The Great Place To Work Institute of San Francisco. The study is now conducted in 40 countries across Europe, Asia, and North America.
The 2009 ranking was announced on Thursday November 5 at the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange where Great Place to Work presented the award to the 50 companies who recognize that the best business results are obtained through a good workplace environment.
