Catholics, Adventists, Pentecostals, and Baptists made

The Pan-Amazonian Ecclesial Network (REPAM) is a Vatican-led organization that is responsible for promoting the Laudato Si' climate change agenda in the Amazonian region. It was founded by the Latin American Episcopal Council (CELAM), the National Conference of Bishops of Brazil (CNBB), the Latin American and Caribbean Secretariat of Caritas (SELACC), the Latin American and Caribbean Confederation of Religious and Religious (CLAR), all Roman Catholic hierarchical organizations. On December 6, 2022, REPAM published the following about a joint ecological and ecumenical conference in which Seventh-day Adventists participated with Roman Catholics and other Evangelical Christians:

• "Leaders from 30 communities were present at the meeting, highlighting young people and women. The presence of different religious denominations was also highlighted, Catholic Church, Brotherhood of the Holy Cross, Assembly of God, Baptist Church, Adventist Church. They were gathered in a true dialogue, seeking to walk together in favor of the Full Life of peoples, especially of young people. Elements that were expressed in the moment of prayer, where in the Ticuna language, they picked up: 'Wü'igü tchi i puracüẽgü, rü tataẽgü.' When we work together we are happy, my work is your work and our work is the work God's!"

The Rome-initiated climate agenda is operating as intended. The Vatican's ecological branch in the Amazonian region, REPAM, is bringing the churches together and establishing the agenda. They are collaborating with churches from many backgrounds, including our own, to further their missions. In many regions of the world, this effort to bring the churches together for a common goal is exploding. Rome is advising the other churches to band together, cooperate, and work with them in order to overcome environmental, economic, and other societal concerns. Additionally, they forbid us from talking about doctrines, apostasy, or errors. Why would we agree to this?

The message that we are only happy when we are working together with Rome is unbiblical. It appears that the end of Protestantism is what is being celebrated at these ecumenical engagements. Our faith is openly under full-fledged attack from all sides, and we participate in these events and act like nothing is happening. We are being dragged into Rome's interfaith sinkhole, and somehow we seem powerless to stop it.

Unlike what was said in this interfaith ecological conference, Rome's work is not our work, and our work is not their work. It is clear that Rome has found the means to neutralize the distinctive message and calling that God has given to us. Preaching the Three Angels' Messages to the world is our responsibility. But it appears that we are more eager to engage in other activities. Simply put, we are just too busy working with Rome. We simply don't have the time to do the task that God has assigned to us.

If the church at all of its levels refuses to distance itself from Rome's organizations like REPAM that are dedicated to advancing Laudato Si', then why are we wasting our time being Seventh-day Adventists? Either God has called us out of every church to share a special message with the world, or He hasn't. Or, will we only give lip service to the Three Angels' Message while honoring Pope Francis' vision as outlined in Laudato Si'? Will we make the Seventh-day Adventist movement resemble the World Council of Churches, the Laudato Si' Movement, or some other organization devoted to addressing climate change? Or will we come out of these Babylonian organizations and call others to come out?
