Marietta Teen Artist’s Work to Be Launched on NASA’s Next Space Shuttle Miss …
Marietta, Georgia – April 25, 2011 A hand-crafted glass bead, created by local teen artist Nick Shook, was selected by Beads of Courage to go to space and back on NASA’s STS-134 mission. The artwork, titled Rocket Ship is part of Beads of Courage and NASA’s Beads in Space project. The STS-134 mission is scheduled to launch on April 29, 2011. Four artists were chosen from Georgia.
