Starting on May 21st 2012 in the rooms adjacent to the Kunstmuseum Gehrke-Remund in Baden-Baden, sixteen artists from Luxembourg expose fifty-nine paintings inspired by Frida Kahlo life and work. The works are painted by patients with mental illnesses (schizophrenia, psychosis). Schizophrenic artists stand out in the course of art history; the high intelligence and creativity that are often associated with mental disorders result in unique works of art.
